Mark “The Foot” Thompson has been drumming for decades, in multiple genres, from Blues and Funk to Hard Rock. He has performed on numerous recordings throughout the years, playing with many groups including; “Dogs Playing Cards, The Blue Healers, The Wingtips, Scratch, Remedy, Aces and Eights, Both Barrels, High Roller and more. His influences include Buddy Rich, Neal Peart, Dave Garibaldi, and Clyde Stubblefield to name just a few.

Thompson plays with a distinctive, recognizable style that fuses rock solid meter, dynamics and power into his own sound. Thompson is frequently called upon for studio work and has been a “first call” to sit in with numerous groups over the years. Whenever he takes the stage, he drives the group with a high energy stage presence that makes people get up and move.
